Nanjizal - The Song of the Sea, Green Pool of Light

By John Jamieson

This is the ‘Song of the Sea’ cave, where the sea has worn through a narrow passageway from the cove to the ocean. Under certain tide and wind conditions the Song of the Sea does indeed ‘sing’.

This natural rock pool appears at low tide. It really was this green!

Nanjizal beach and cove (also known as Mill Bay) lies one mile SE of Land’s End, Cornwall, UK. (Always visit around low tide to enjoy its splendor.)
