Yet another anglo-saxson invention introduced to the world especially to us commonwealthians.  These spongy yet crispy pancakes with holes in them are our childhood memories - the holes are for filling with melted butter and honey, to then have it all running down the back of your hand as you try to eat it.  Now we’re all grown up, yeah right, it’s toped with a different honey.
